Waupaca, Wisconsin Intimate Elopement
I don’t even know how to start explaining how beautiful Britney and Jessey’s intimate elopement in Waupaca, Wisconsin was. I have also discovered that sunrise is probably my most favorite time to photograph. Though I’m one of the worst morning individuals, I have found a new enjoyment for sunrise and being up early. When Britney and Jessey reached out to me about photographing their sunrise Waupaca, Wisconsin elopement, I was so dang excited! I played soccer with Britney in High School, and I was so excited to meet Jessey, who brought Britney so much happiness.
Britney & Jessey rented an Airbnb right on the water in Waupaca, close to Allen Lake, the spot they wanted to say a few words and spend time together. I met them at the AirBnb and Britney was putting together her own floral bouquet with flowers that she picked up at Petal Back Farm in Mindoro, WI. We started with photos on the dock, which was absolutely beautiful. Then, we headed to Allen Lake to explore and spend time together. It was a gray, foggy morning, but it made for a gorgeous, cozy backdrop for this intimate day. Britney’s dress and shoes were from Lulu’s and Jessey had a sleek navy blue suite from Men’s Warehouse.
Britney, Jessey, and I spent a couple hours at the park and lake and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and stunning sunrise. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather in October, especially in Wisconsin! We headed back to the AirBnb and Britney & Jessey made their own breakfast. Seriously you all, I told Britney she should be an event planner because she had the cutest table setup. She also had such a great vision when it came to how her and Jessey wanted to celebrate their marriage. They showed me that it doesn’t matter how many people you have, what kind of venue you choose, or the decor you use. What matters is you and your partner and how you want to celebrate your relationship and the chapters ahead.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Miller!
