From the very moment I met Shelby & Derrek they have been so incredibly kind. From photographing their engagement session along with their adorable little boy, to the wedding day, I have been lucky enough to get to know them and their family and friends. They have been together for a long time and were an absolute blast to work with. My second shooter Sarah Anderson has captured many moments from their big day and they are sprinkled through out this blog, big shout out to her for coming along with me to capture these never forget moments for Shelby & Derrek. [ Engagement ] Alyssa & Eli

Ok… So I have been waiting to share these moments with you all! These two cuties are engaged!!! I am so incredibly happy for them, and let me tell you… the photo session with them was an absolute blast. Alyssa & Eli are some of the two most down to earth people I have met and they were up for anything for this session.

I met Alyssa at a Dale Carnegie class and we clicked right away- both of our favorite colors are yellow and we love photography…..friends right away! And you guys, I love how much Eli adores Alyssa, seeing their love for each other and how they can just be themselves during their photo session brought me the biggest smile.

When you check out the photo with the ring/ring box- note that Eli made that from their first real Christmas tree from years ago and has been holding onto it for quite a while!

It was magical. That is the best way to explain this day for Brittney and Corey… and those were the exact words from Brittney near the end of the day. It made me so happy to hear her say that because she was just so happy. This beautiful Minnesota, North Shore wedding was the perfect fairytale and so much fun! I can’t even explain how much Brittney & Corey’s family and friends made me feel welcomed and they honestly made my job so easy. I felt so comfortable around everyone and I was able to document their story the whole day… gosh I love photographing these moments for people!
