Mel & Nick wanted to show me around Peninsula State Park for their Door County engagement photos, and I am so dang glad they did! This park has a lot of meaning in their relationship. It is where Nick asked Mel to be his girlfriend and was also the location when Nick proposed! Door County is an adorable, tourist-attracting area of northeastern Wisconsin. It’s nestled in Lake Michigan and features tons of beautiful waterfront views. Therefore, it made for a gorgeous backdrop for their photos.

These two are so much fun to be around, and I am so excited for their winter/early spring wedding in March of 2022. It’s going to be one heck of a party and a beautiful day celebrating these two! In the meantime, enjoy some highlights from their Door County engagement photos.
